This summer, Malaika will be working in Mount Carroll, IL! I will be in Timberlake Playhouse’s productions of Footloose (Rusty), Anything Goes (The Captain), Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch), Clue: On Stage (Ms. White), and Jekyll and Hide (Red Rat Girl).

Malaika graduates from Syracuse University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Bleed Orange!

March 2024

Malaika got the opportunity to be among a select group of students to go on an all-expense paid trip to LA funded by Academy Award Winner, writer, and producer, Aaron Sorkin. The week was filled with insight into the TV, Film, and theatre scene in LA as well as learning from industry professionals across all genres.

January 2024

Malaika starts the Tepper semester, a program from Syracuse’s Department of Drama that allows students to take rigorous classes that strengthen their artistry, while being immersed in New York City.
